Diplomatic Legalization
In cases of use of official documents to countries that are not parties to the Apostille Convention, it is necessary for the consul to certify the authenticity of the official documents.
Persons within our Consular District (Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Senegal) who wish to have official documents diplomatically legalized must first ensure the document has been attested by the Foreign Ministry of the issuing country.
The fee for diplomatic legalization is the prevailing USD equivalent of 25 EUR and is payable by POS terminal ONLY with any bank card (debit, credit, visa or mastercard) at the Embassy during your appointment. Cash is not accepted.
